CONFIDENTIALITY, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
11th Global Pranic Healers Convention 2027
By registering for and/or participating in the 11th Global Pranic Healers Convention 2027 (“Convention”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Protection of Teachings and Intellectual Property
I acknowledge that certain teachings, techniques, presentations, demonstrations, meditations, exercises, written materials, audio and video materials, illustrations, diagrams, digital content and other materials shared or made available in connection with the Convention may be proprietary, confidential and/or protected by copyright, trademark, trade name or other intellectual property rights belonging to Institute for Inner Studies Limited, Institute for Inner Studies, Inc., their affiliates, licensors, speakers, presenters or other applicable rights holders.
I agree to respect and protect these rights.
Except where expressly permitted by the Convention Organizer or the applicable rights holder, I shall not:

• reproduce, copy, scan, photograph, screenshot, record, download, upload, publish, distribute, transmit, sell, license or commercially exploit protected Convention materials or teachings;
• make unauthorized audio, video, photographic, screen or other recordings of Convention sessions, presentations or materials;
• upload or transmit protected or confidential Convention content or materials to social media, websites, messaging platforms, file-sharing services, cloud-storage services, artificial intelligence systems, transcription services or other third-party platforms;
• reproduce, teach, demonstrate or distribute proprietary techniques or teachings where such activity is not otherwise authorized;
• create or distribute derivative training or instructional materials substantially based upon protected Convention materials; or
• permit any unauthorized person to access materials that have been designated for registered Convention participants only.
  These restrictions apply whether the conduct occurs in whole or in part and regardless of the medium or technology used.

2. Personal Photography and Social Media
The Convention Organizer may designate certain areas, activities or sessions where personal photography or social-media sharing is permitted.
Where photography or sharing is permitted, participants must respect the privacy, dignity and personal rights of other participants, speakers and presenters.
Photography, filming, recording or distribution of content from sessions or areas specifically designated as confidential, restricted or “no recording” is prohibited.
The Convention Organizer may communicate additional photography, recording and social-media guidelines before or during the Convention, and participants agree to comply with such reasonable guidelines.

3. No Transfer of Intellectual Property Rights
Participation in the Convention does not transfer or assign to the participant any ownership interest in the teachings, techniques, presentations, materials, trademarks, trade names, copyrights, confidential information or other intellectual property made available during the Convention.
Except for the limited right to personally participate in the Convention and to use materials expressly provided for personal use, no license or proprietary right is granted or implied.

4. Confidentiality
Certain information, presentations, demonstrations, discussions, materials or experiences may be identified by the Convention Organizer, speaker or presenter as confidential or not intended for public dissemination.
Participants agree not to disclose, reproduce, record, distribute or communicate such information to unauthorized persons.
This obligation will continue after the Convention for so long as the relevant information remains confidential or otherwise protected.

5. Nature and Scope of the Convention
The Convention is educational, experiential and informational in nature.
The teachings, techniques, practices, presentations and experiences offered during the Convention are not represented as substitutes for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric or other healthcare services.
Participants remain responsible for obtaining appropriate professional medical or healthcare advice concerning any medical or psychological condition.
Participants should not discontinue prescribed medical treatment or medication solely on the basis of information or experiences received during the Convention.

6. Participant Responsibility
Participation in the Convention is voluntary.
Participants agree to:

• participate responsibly;
• follow reasonable safety, organizational and venue instructions;
• respect other participants, speakers, presenters, volunteers and Convention personnel;
• comply with applicable Convention rules and procedures; and
• promptly inform an appropriate Convention representative if they experience physical discomfort, distress or another condition reasonably requiring them to stop or modify their participation.
  A participant may decline to participate in an exercise or activity where they reasonably believe participation would be unsafe or inappropriate for them.

7. No Guarantee of Results
Participation in the Convention does not guarantee any particular physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, professional, financial or other result.
Personal experiences, testimonials, observations or statements concerning possible benefits do not constitute a guarantee of any particular outcome.

8. Assumption of Ordinary and Inherent Risks
Participants acknowledge that Convention activities may involve ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with physical movement, meditation, concentration exercises, experiential activities, group participation, travel within Convention facilities or other related activities.
Participants voluntarily accept responsibility for ordinary and inherent risks associated with their participation, subject always to rights and protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

9. Compliance with Convention Rules
Participants agree to comply with reasonable Convention rules, instructions, security requirements, venue policies and procedures communicated by the Convention Organizer.
The Convention Organizer reserves the right to refuse, suspend or discontinue a participant’s participation where reasonably necessary to protect:

• the safety or wellbeing of participants or others;
• the intellectual property or confidential information of IIS or other rights holders;
• the rights or privacy of speakers, presenters or participants;
• the orderly conduct of the Convention; or
• the legitimate interests of the Convention Organizer.
  Any such decision will be made reasonably and subject to applicable law.

10. Breach of Confidentiality or Intellectual Property Rights
Unauthorized copying, recording, disclosure, distribution, teaching or commercial exploitation of protected Convention materials, teachings or confidential information may cause substantial harm to the applicable rights holder.
In the event of a breach, Institute for Inner Studies and/or the applicable rights holder may take such steps and pursue such remedies as are available under applicable law.

11. Convention Photography and Recording by the Organizer
Participants acknowledge that the Convention Organizer may arrange photography, audio recording or video recording in common areas and during certain Convention activities for documentation, archival, educational or promotional purposes.
Any use of a participant’s identifiable image, voice or likeness will be subject to applicable law and any separate consent or notice required by the Convention Organizer.
Where a separate photography, video or media consent is presented during registration or at the Convention, its terms will apply to such use.

12. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the Convention.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Convention Organizer will not be responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings except where caused by conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. No Waiver of Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive or limit any right, protection or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Terms
This Agreement should be read together with the applicable:

• Convention Registration Terms and Conditions;
• Cancellation and Refund Policy;
• Data Protection and Privacy Policy;
• Consent for Release and Transmission of Personal Data; and
• any other written policies or notices expressly incorporated into the Convention registration process.
  In the event of any inconsistency, the provision dealing most specifically with the relevant matter will apply, subject to applicable law.

15. Electronic Acceptance
Where this Agreement is accepted electronically, including through an online registration system, electronic signature, checkbox or other legally valid electronic method, such acceptance will have the same effect as a handwritten signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By completing registration for the Convention, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this Agreement;
• I understand the confidentiality and intellectual property restrictions applicable to the Convention;
• I understand that certain sessions, materials or activities may be subject to additional restrictions communicated by the Convention Organizer;
• I agree to comply with the applicable Convention rules and conditions; and
• I voluntarily accept these terms as a condition of my participation in the Convention.
