Meditating When You Have No Time
It used to be a common misconception that meditation is only for those on the spiritual path. Moreover, with increasing demands on people’s time and attention, it was thought to be incompatible with a modern lifestyle.
Then the world changed.
There was an increased focus on mental health and overall wellbeing. As a result, people began realizing the importance of setting aside time for meditating, allocating some time in inner reflection and spending time away from the screens. But, unfortunately, the stress levels and unforeseen circumstances caused time management crises.
That said, there are specific methods and meditation techniques that have been carefully created to blend with our busy schedule smoothly and, in many cases, empower us to tackle our recurring problems much more effortlessly!
One of the key tenets of meditation is to gain control over the mind. There are all sorts of things in life that we cannot control – from the people we meet to world-changing events to minor occurrences that happen day-to-day. While many good and bad experiences seem beyond our control, there is one thing that we can and should control – our mind.
According to Master Choa Kok Sui, “Whether or not you have a better life depends on you. It depends on your attitude.”
A simple solution is doing the Meditation on Twin Hearts. In 20 minutes, the meditation generates incredible amounts of energy. It uses the essence of teachings and practices used thousands of years ago, adapting and aligning it to today’s lifestyle. Being a guided meditation, all one has to do is play the recording and follow the simple instructions.
The way it works is, certain chakras are gateways to higher levels of consciousness. For example, the Crown Chakra, when sufficiently activated, helps achieve illumination. One of the fastest ways to activate the Crown is through the Heart Chakra. After activating the Heart and Crown Chakras, energies of loving-kindness are directed towards the Earth and every person and being on Earth. With the activation of the Crown Chakra, tremendous amounts of divine energy flow down into our body, filling it with peace, joy, happiness and bliss. It also works to purify us by gradually clearing all the negative thoughts and emotions, including stress, worry, irritability and grief, from our system.
The effect is a much sharper mind, more refined emotions and a stronger will. In this way, the Meditation on Twin Hearts helps us become better people and be more intelligent, efficient, and productive at our work and career. It also improves our communication skills and relationships by activating our Heart and filling us with the energies of love, harmony and forgiveness.
In other words, the 20 minutes we spend daily will save us much more than just 20 minutes in other aspects of life. So whether we are busy or not, in the spiritual path or in business, employee or freelancer, we all need meditation to de-stress, re-charge and revitalize.
