Wesak Festival 2020
Master Choa Kok Sui often said that compassion is doing something to alleviate the suffering of another. He equated compassion as a path to oneness. It starts within us, then expands through us. It is a saving grace not only for the whole humanity, but for our own entirety as well.
Our spiritual Teacher taught us various means or avenues, such as service and tithing, so that we may materialize and physicalize the compassion we have within us—that we may maximize the effects of service and tithing not only for the development of others, but also for our own spiritual development. Master Choa also introduced techniques, such as the use of the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, and gave valid meaning to it and how it can help accelerate one’s spiritual development as it is fueled by the compassion we have within us.
During this Wesak Festival 2020, we are once again given the opportunity to put our compassion into action, to practice what we have been taught—so that we may bring greater glory to each and everyone.
This year’s Wesak Festival has also been made special as the eight (8) acharyas of the Pranic Healing community have come together to give brief special talks and blessings focused on our current global situation.
So, we at the Institute for Inner Studies, invite you to join us on the 7th of May 2020 (Thursday | 5:49 PM GMT+8) (Wesak peak time is at 6:45 PM GMT+8) as we continue the tradition of learning and progress through a special video presentation of Master Choa Kok Sui, enhanced with supplementary lectures and blessings from the acharyas, and with the practice of the Wesak Meditation (Meditation on Loving-Kindness).
