The Avatar Rama incarnated during the Age of Gemini, over 7000 years ago. Some of the characters in the Ramayana had dual personalities – they were very good, but at the same time, had some destructive negative qualities.

Many characters in the Ramayana are also twins – Rama’s brothers, and his sons as well – which represents Gemini energy.

The sign opposite Gemini during this age was Saggitarius, the archer. This is why Lord Rama is most commonly depicted with a bow and arrows. Lord Rama, in his victory over Ravana, symbolically represents the victory of knowledge over ignorance, light over darkness and love over malice.

The lesson is to make sure that you become a Rama from a Ravana.
